Everything on sparkytools is teaching material. The diagrams show how a circuit behaves; the glossary and notes explain ideas. None of it is an installation instruction, a design, or a substitute for the code.
What this site does not do
It does not tell you which conductor is which colour, what a conductor may carry, how many fit in a raceway, or how to make an installation compliant. Those are set by the Canadian Electrical Code, your provincial and local amendments, and the manufacturer's data — and they change on their own cycle. Deliberately, none of that data is reproduced here. When you need a value, open your code book.
Learn from it, don't wire from it
Understanding a 3-way circuit and being permitted to install one are different things. Electrical work generally requires a permit and a qualified person, and the consequences of getting it wrong are shock and fire, not a wasted afternoon. Use this to understand what you are looking at; verify anything you act on against the code and a qualified person, and confirm every circuit is de-energized with a meter before you touch it.
